Where are you located?

Dwell Hair Studio is located at 1 Barney Road in Clifton Park New York. We are in suite 242 inside of Barney Road. Here are step by step directions on where to go: When facing the building use the front to the right. Go up the stairs and down the hallway to the last double glass doors(you will see my name on the door). Go through the glass doors and then take a left. Suite 242 will be the next door on the right.
How do I get started?

Getting started is simple. You can book right online with the button at the top of this page “Make an appointment”. If you have questions on what service to book reach out directly to Megan or take a look at our service page full of details on each service.
How much do your services cost?

All service prices are listed on our service page with a “starting” price and a description of what that service includes. If you want an exact price you can reach out to Megan to schedule a consult or send her pictures of your hair and your desired results. Megan is very transparent with cost, time of the appointment, and maintenance.
How often do I need to come in?

This really depends on what service you are getting and your desired results. Megan strives to come up with a strategy that best fits your lifestyle right now and your budget. Highlighting appointments range from 3-6 months, and retouch and color appointments are every 6-12 weeks.
What products should I be using at home to protect my hair and investment?

Professional products matter more than most people realize. They protect your hair, help prevent breakage and fading, extend the life of your washes and blowouts, reduce buildup, and keep your color looking fresh longer. When you invest in your hair, you want it to last — the right products make all the difference. This isn’t about selling products you don’t need, this is about protecting what you just paid for and making your life much easier on a daily basis. Some of Megan’s favorite product lines are LOMA, Amika, and WOW Hair. She is always happy to recommend a product within your price range whether she carries it at the salon or not.
I’ve never been in a salon suite before, what is that like?

Dwell Hair Studio is a fully private salon suite located on Barney Road, thoughtfully designed to create a calm, comfortable experience from the moment you arrive. Inside, you’ll find cozy seating, complimentary snacks and beverages, Wi-Fi, and a quiet, peaceful atmosphere where you can truly unwind.
Shared restrooms are conveniently located just outside the suite, and there is a dedicated parking lot for easy, stress-free access. Every detail is intentionally chosen so you can slow down, relax, and enjoy time that’s just for you.

With 23 years in the industry, Megan created Dwell from her own experience as a busy mom and business owner — understanding firsthand the desire to feel polished and confident without spending endless hours in a salon chair. The result is a thoughtful, efficient experience designed for women who do it all and still want to feel like themselves.
